Bag use and maintenance
Our bags have been created to reduce the use of plastic and paper.
With a useful life of several years, "Dans Le Sac" bags are designed to offset the environmental impact of thousands of plastic and paper bags!
Here are some helpful hints for getting the most out of our bags:
*A shrinkage of 10% on the height of the bag is to be expected after the first wash. The bag was designed larger in anticipation of this shrinkage.
Bread bag use
Our bread bags are designed to transport bread home from the bakery. They will help to preserve your bread fresh, but please keep in mind that bakeries use a less industrial process, so bakery-made breads contain fewer preservatives! Here are some tips to help you:
*The shelf life of your bread will depend on the environment (temperature, humidity, etc.) in which the bag is stored. The crust serves as a natural barrier, so if you use a bread machine and the crust is thin, your bread may dry faster.
How to close the bread bag?
To close the bag, simply roll the top so that it is as tight as possible. Then pass the ribbon around and tie it.
To make a basket, turn the top of the bag out 2 to 3 times.
