We had fun putting together a list of gift ideas for Quebec-made products because this year, more than ever, we've seen the importance of investing in our local talents. Of course, we often prioritize second-hand purchases, homemade gifts, or experiences, but for those who don't find what they're looking for with these options, here are some original local gift ideas.
Let's start with non-material gifts, because we don't know about you, but these are the gifts we prefer to give and receive.
An annual pass for the SÉPAQ network
Tickets for Space for Life. Whether it's to wander through one of the greenhouses at the Botanical Garden or to learn more about space at the Planetarium, it's a refreshing change from the everyday and feels good!
A facial at Beauties Lab. It's on our wishlist. A customized facial with eco-friendly products, pure bliss!
An overnight stay to escape the daily routine. A few years ago I spent two nights in a Zoobox and I loved it! We've also tried Huttopia a few times and really like it. Parc Oméga also offers the experience of sleeping in a cabin with a view of the wolves (again, on our wishlist). Many places now offer unique experiences (yurts, treehouses, bubbles, etc.).
A gift card for a restaurant. It helps restaurant owners who really need some love these days, and it gives you a break from cooking, which is always much appreciated!
In the same vein, frozen homemade meals. A greatly underestimated gift if you ask us, but one that saves lives (no exaggeration here) when you're wondering what to make for dinner, are in a hurry, or simply don't feel like cooking.
A subscription to Infuse Magazine's exclusive content. Inspiring podcasts, blog articles, videos, in short, lots of content that feels good.
A sewing class at Espace Fabrik. The workshop founded by Camélia from La Fabrik éco offers sewing classes (online lately) to learn how to create all your projects, from the simplest to the wildest! A beautiful gift to become more self-sufficient!

A subscription to Beside magazine. A magazine for nature, outdoor, and sustainable development enthusiasts.
The Growers & Co magazine. A very nice magazine about organic farming with portraits of inspiring people.

The Dinette Magazine. Incredible photos, varied articles, and such kind entrepreneurs! They also have beautiful posters in their shop!

The eco-friendly cleaning kit. We all clean! Might as well do it with beautiful and durable items to make it more interesting!

The wooden spatula from La Louve. We love cooking with wooden utensils. They are eco-friendly and don't scratch pots and pans.
An essential oil diffuser from Zayat Aroma. We've both had one for a few years. They are as beautiful as they are effective.
The holiday ambient candles from T.Lees. Scented GMO-free soy candles to get you in the holiday spirit.
Seeds for the garden. We are already planning our vegetable garden for next summer! The urban nutritionist offers booklets of heirloom seeds. We also planted those from the vie-la-joie garden which gave us great harvests last year.

Quebec-made basics from C'est beau. We all need a white t-shirt that goes with everything.

An Audvik coat. We know it's a big luxury! But we love them, they are warm, eco-friendly, and so beautiful! And we don't replace them every year!
Warm wool insoles to put in winter boots. Perfect for warming up boots and playing outside longer!
