Gift ideas made in Quebec

Posted by Laurie Barrette on

We had fun concocting a list of gift ideas for Quebec products since we saw more than ever the importance of investing in our talents between now and this year. Of course, we very often favor second-hand purchases, homemade gifts or experiences, but for those who wouldn't find their account with this, here are some original gift ideas from here.

Let's start with non-material gifts, since we don't know about you, but for us, these are the presents that we prefer to receive and offer.

A one-year access card to the SÉPAQ network

Space for Life tickets . Whether it's strolling through one of the Botanical Garden's greenhouses or learning more about space at the Planetarium, it's a change from everyday life and it feels good!

A facial at the Beauties Lab . It's on our wishlist. A tailor-made facial treatment with eco-friendly products, pure happiness!

A night to get away from it all. A few years ago I spent two nights in a Zoobox and I loved it! We also tested Huttopia a few times, which we really like. Omega Park also offers the experience of sleeping in a cabin with a view of the wolves (again on our wishlist). Several places now offer unique experiences (yurt, tree house, in a bubble, etc.).

A gift card in a restaurant. It helps restaurant owners who are in dire need of love these days and it gives a break from cooking, which is greatly appreciated at all times!

In the same vein, homemade frozen meals. A greatly underrated gift if you ask us, but one that saves lives (no exaggeration here) when you're wondering what to eat for supper, when you're in a hurry or when you just don't feel like to cook.

A subscription to exclusive content from Infuse Magazine . Inspirational podcasts, blog articles, videos, in short, full of content that feels good.

A sewing class at Espace Fabrik . The workshop founded by Camélia from La Fabrik Éco offers sewing classes (online lately) to learn how to carry out all your projects from the simplest to the craziest! A very nice gift to become more self-sufficient!

Books, magazines, subscription

A subscription to Beside magazine . A magazine for lovers of nature, the outdoors and sustainable development.

Growers & Co magazine . Very nice magazine on organic farming with portraits of inspiring people.

Our Minimal book . A must-have for anyone interested in cutting back, slowing down on a daily basis, and experimenting with easy-to-make DIY recipes.
